This is a mixture of decomposing organic & food waste, bedding material and vermicast which is the end result of a decomposition process that uses red wigglers, white worms and earthworms. When organic matter is broken down by earthworms it results in Vermicast, also called as worm casting, humus, manure or worm feces. Casting has a higher saturation level of nutrients, even higher than pre-vermi casting level and lower level of contaminants.
